Motoguys (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) is committed to protecting the personal data of Sellers and their authorised representatives (“You”, “Your”). This Seller Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect Your information in connection with the Motoguys seller programme. This Policy is issued in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act), and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (SPDI Rules).

Your personal data is primarily stored and processed on servers located within India. If any processing occurs outside India (e.g., via a cloud service provider), we ensure adequate contractual safeguards are in place in accordance with Section 16 of the DPDP Act, 2023 and Central Government notifications thereunder.

We implement reasonable security practices and procedures as mandated under Rule 8 of the SPDI Rules, 2011, including but not limited to: TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest for sensitive data, role-based access controls, and periodic security audits. In the event of a personal data breach, We will notify affected parties and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Act, 2023.
The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, analyse usage patterns, and improve the seller experience. You may configure Your browser to refuse cookies; however, some Platform features may not function correctly as a result. Analytics data is collected in compliance with the IT Act, 2000 and applicable guidelines.
